Every week, 12 babies are born with a heart condition in NZ, and a disproportionate number of Maori and Pacific Island children acquire a heart condition as a result of rheumatic fever. They need support to help them cope with the daily challenges of living with a heart condition.

At kids@Heart, our heart kids get to know others with similar needs, share fears and experiences, and find companionship and confidence. They have the opportunity to go to Camp Brave Hearts which caters for the specific needs of kids 8 to 12 years old with a heart condition. This popular Camp gives heart kids the opportunity to engage in outdoor activities, and try out new things in a non-competitive and non-threatening
